Building the Bridge to Tomorrow’s Talent: A New Podcast for Educators, Employers, and the Next Generation of Workers

At Tomorrow’s Talent, we believe that the bridge between education and employment should be more than a crossing; it should be a collaboration. That belief is at the heart of our newest project, The Bridge to Tomorrow’s Talent, a podcast launching Tuesday, November 11, on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.

Each week, we’ll bring together education and business leaders from across Southern California and beyond for honest, forward-looking conversations about the modern workforce. We’ll explore how technology, changing industry demands, and the shifting definition of “career readiness” are shaping the world our students are entering. More importantly, we’ll talk about how educators and employers can work together to prepare students for success.

Why We’re Building “The Bridge”

Classrooms today are preparing students for a future that’s evolving faster than ever. Artificial intelligence, automation, and hybrid workplaces are changing what it means to start a career and what skills truly matter. At the same time, employers are looking for young professionals who can think critically, collaborate across disciplines, and adapt to rapid change.

“The Bridge to Tomorrow’s Talent” was born out of this moment and a desire to connect the dots between education and employment in a way that’s accessible and real. The podcast isn’t just about sharing insights; it’s about elevating voices and sparking discussions that help educators and employers align their efforts around the same goal. As we often say at Tomorrow’s Talent, “We don’t just prepare students for jobs, we prepare them for a career doing the work they love.” This podcast is a new way to walk that path together.

What You Can Expect

Each episode will feature a candid conversation with a leader who has navigated the journey from student to professional; someone who knows firsthand what it takes to thrive in today’s workforce. We’ll ask our guests about the pivotal moments that shaped their careers, the lessons they’ve learned, and what advice they’d offer to young people entering their industries today.

We’ll also tackle timely themes like:

  • How emerging industry technology is reshaping entry-level roles
  • The real impact of work-based learning on student outcomes and business performance
  • Best practices for building strong educational-employer partnerships
  • Hiring strategies in a world defined by both skill and adaptability

Whether you’re an educator designing curriculum, a business leader building a talent pipeline, or a student preparing to launch your career—this podcast will offer practical stories, actionable strategies, and fresh inspiration.

Upcoming Guests

To kick things off, we’re thrilled to welcome an inspiring lineup of guests from diverse industries and perspectives:

  • John Mura, Founder of Kellar Consulting
  • Kerrie Bryan, Director of Administrative Services at East Valley Water District
  • Michael Kleyman, Founder of Kleycom Consulting
  • Unmesh Srivastava, Managing Partner and CEO at Incuvio Health
  • Eric Schmidt, President and Co-Founder of Exquadrum, Inc.

Each conversation will offer a new lens into how the world of work is evolving and how schools can prepare students not just to adapt, but to lead.

This podcast isn’t about adding more to your plate, it’s about helping you connect to what comes next. It’s about sparking conversations that help students see the “why” behind their studies, and helping communities see the “how” behind meaningful workforce development.
